The overall objective of this project/initiative is to increase democratic practices and strengthen the rule of law in northern Kosovo through greater inclusion of society in public social dialogue about their interests and rights, aiming to empower the people of northern Kosovo by giving them a stronger voice in public discussions about their rights and interests. Furthermore the CEC aims to foster a greater sense of democracy and ensure that the rule of law is upheld, creating a more inclusive and fair society for everyone.

By fostering greater inclusion in public discussions, this project aims to empower the people of northern Kosovo, giving them a stronger voice and ensuring their rights are upheld. Establishing regular public forums will provide a consistent platform for the community to engage in discussions about legal rights, access to justice, and accountability mechanisms. This will increase public awareness and understanding of the rule of law, fostering a more informed citizenry. By promoting dialogue among civil society organizations, local and central authorities, and the international community, we aim to bridge gaps between non-majority and majority communities. Facilitating open dialogues at the community level will enhance citizens’ understanding of judicial, political, and social processes.
