A working breakfast between civil society organizations and members of the diplomatic corps in Serbia took place in Belgrade on November 9, 2023, organized by the NGO Aktiv’s Belgrade Office.
The working breakfast was attended by Her Excellency German Ambassador Anke Konrad and His Excellency French Ambassador Pierre Cochard, Chargé d’Affaires of the British Embassy Dominik Otway, Deputy Ambassador of Turkey Pinar Senturk, as well as representatives of several other embassies and international missions.
During the gathering, representatives of NGO Aktiv, the Committee of Lawyers for Human Rights, the Belgrade Center for Security Policy, the European Movement in Serbia, and the Institute for Territorial Economic Development steered a discussion on the perspective of the normalization process between Belgrade and Pristina, especially in light of recent events in northern Kosovo.
The meeting with diplomats served as a unique platform for open and constructive discussion on critical issues related to Belgrade and Pristina relations, including current security challenges, position of Serbs in Kosovo, normalization of relations, and Serbia’s EU integration.
