Round Table on Transparency in Anti-Corruption Efforts Held in Leposavić

On Wednesday, May 22, 2024, a round table titled “Roadmap for Increasing Transparency in the Fight Against Corruption” was held in Leposavić. The event was attended by representatives of civil society, the media, and Yll Bulleshkaj, Director of the Agency for the Prevention of Corruption.

During the meeting, a comprehensive road map for enhancing transparency in anti-corruption efforts was presented. Additionally, the ABER application, designed to provide information on basic human and minority rights and facilitate the reporting of corruption, was introduced.

Yll Buleshkaj detailed the work and functioning of the Agency for the Prevention of Corruption. Participants had the opportunity to voice their concerns and suggestions, contributing to a constructive debate and exchange of ideas.

The meeting underscored the importance of collaborative efforts in combating corruption.

“Let this initiative be an incentive for further work and improvement of transparency in our community,” the participants stated.

This event is organized within the framework of the project “Improving Transparency and the Rule of Law in Communities with a Serb-Majority Population,” implemented by NGO Aktiv and the Advocacy Center for Democratic Culture (ACDC), with the cooperation and support of the Agency for Prevention of Corruption, and financially supported by the International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs Bureau (INL).
