On the occasion of International Anti-Corruption Day, December 9, as part of the project “Strengthening Transparency and the Rule of Law in Serb-Majority Municipalities”, we are pleased to invite you to the presentation of the Corruption Prevention Manual, which starts at 11:00 AM at the CEC, Mitrovica. The handbook is developed as a tool for citizens, institutions, and civil society, aiming to raise awareness of the importance of transparency and accountability in decision-making processes.
This handbook contains key information about mechanisms for reporting corruption, the roles of citizens and institutions in preventing corruption, as well as best practices from other countries. It also includes concrete steps for strengthening the capacities of local communities to fight corruption and promote good practices in public resource management.
The handbook is implemented under the project “Enhancing Transparency and Rule of Law in Communities with a Serbian Majority Population,” implemented by NGO AKTIV in partnership with the Center for Advocacy of Democratic Culture (ACDC), in cooperation and with the support of the Anti-Corruption Agency, with financial support from the International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs Bureau (INL).
