Recent developments concerning properties and structures in the area surrounding Gazivode Lake have raised concerns among affected residents and highlighted the need for clearer communication between the local community and relevant institutions.

The situation has also generated tensions and uncertainty among local residents and, if left unaddressed, risks negatively affecting interethnic relations and broader community confidence.

Questions related to property rights, construction permits, institutional competences and applicable administrative procedures require open dialogue and direct exchange among all concerned parties.

The meeting aims to bring together representatives of relevant institutions, the Municipality of Zubin Potok, Ibar-Lepenac, affected citizens, legal experts and civil society representatives in order to clarify respective positions, improve communication and identify possible steps towards addressing outstanding issues through dialogue, transparency and due process.
