From 26th of November the five-day Forum Theater training is being held in the premises of Civic Energy Center.

NGO AKTIV is announcing a call for application for 2017 internship positions. In a year ahead of us we are looking for help in three programmatic areas: 1) Policy research and analyzes; 2) Communication and public relations; and 3) Finance and project administration. The expected duration of the internship positions is six months (6) (January 2017 – July 2017).

A group of 16 students from the MA in Post-war Recovery Studies at the University of York and their professors visited NGO AKTIV for the second time during their annual study trip to Kosovo. The purpose of the visit was for the students to gain insights into the various dimensions of the post-war recovery process in Kosovo from a Kosovo Serb perspective. The students were divided into four groups focusing on specific post-conflict issues, namely: reconciliation; displacement and reintegration; gender; and the role of civil society.

International Organisation for Migration (IOM) has launched a call for proposals for businesses and social enterprises. The call is launched as part of the program Socio-Economic inclusion of minority communities to support long term reconciliation funded by the British Embassy in Pristina and implemented by International Organization for Migration (IOM) in partnership with Caritas Kosova, AKTIV, and Centre for Communities Development.

The best project ideas of CSOs from Albania, former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia (FYROM), Montenegro, Serbia and Kosovo* are chosen to participate in the Grant and Training Programme within the framework of project “Sustainable agriculture for sustainable Balkans: Strengthening advocacy capacities of CSOs and developing policies in the Western Balkans”. Total of 48 organisations have been selected for participation in the Programme – 18 from Serbia, 10 from FYROM, 8 from Albania, 6 from Montenegro and 6 from Kosovo.

On Tuesday, 25 October 2016, NGO AKTIV took part at the second regular meeting of the National Convent on EU for chapter 35 of the negotiation process of EU integration of Serbia.
