Social cohesion in divided societies is more than the absence of conflict, it is the continuous work of building trust, meaningful relationships, and cooperative institutions grounded in fairness, participation, and shared responsibility.
This conference brings together academic expertise, practitioner experience, and community perspectives to bridge evidence with lived realities. Through comparative insights and local data, participants will explore approaches to strengthening social cohesion, addressing persistent inequalities, and ensuring that minority voices are meaningfully included contributing to sustainable peace and collective wellbeing.
Through open and inclusive dialogue among scholars, policymakers, practitioners, and community representatives, the event aims to identify practical pathways for trust-building, equitable participation, and a more cohesive society in Kosovo and in other divided contexts.
