The rule of law at the local level was discussed today in the second workshop of the School of European Integration.

On the 24^th of October, 2018, NGO AKTIV invited members of Kosovo civil society and the international community to the Civic Energy Center in North Mitrovica. 

A year has passed since the integration of Serbian judges and prosecutors into the Kosovo judicial system.
Judge of the Supreme Court of Kosovo, Jelena Krivokapic, says that "the single greatest advantage of the integration may be that the citizens do not have to seek justice in two different courts, that is, in two different legal systems.”

It is our pleasure to announce a public presentation of the Potential Partition Scenario analysis. The results of the analysis will be presented on Wednesday, the 24th of October at the Center for Civic Energy (NGO AKTIV)  from 11:00 until 13:00 followed by refreshments.  

NGO AKTIV is launching a call for proposals for small projects focused on written contributions to the production of the EU Progress Report for Kosovo 2019.  The call is open to Civil Society Organizations operating in non-majority communities in Kosovo with the purpose of facilitating structured participation of members of non-majority communities in the consultation process for contributions to the EU Progress Report. 

The rule-of-law group of this year's School of European Integration visited today the Basic Court in North Mitrovica. The participants spoke with the president of this institution, Nikola Kabasic, who introduced them to the jurisdictions and functioning of this court and answered many of the questions raised on this occasion. During the visit, the participants also spoke with the judge of the Appellate Court, Milan Bigović.

Representatives of the Office of Language Commissioner, Embassy of Kingdom of Norway and NGO Aktiv have met on 16th of October 2018 on a group meeting, where they agreed on basic principles and plan of implementation of the project ’Creating Bilingual Kosovo’.

O budućnosti Kosova, idejama razgraničenja, razmene, odnosno podele teritorije Kosova, ali i drugim gorućim pitanjima razgovarali smo, u okviru debate Mitrovačkog društvenog kluba, sa Stefanom Surlićem, asistentom na Fakultetu političkih nauka Univerziteta u Beogradu i izuzetnim poznavaocem ovdašnjh prilika.

NVO Aktiv organizuje šestomesečni program engleskog jezika za sve zainteresovane građane, mlade, predstavnike lokalnih medija, nevladinog sektora i studente Univerziteta u Severnoj Mitrovici.
