Within the project Empowering civil society organisations in Kosovo to become effective contributors to security policy and decision-making processes, of which AKTIV is a partner, three community dialogue meetings have been executed this month in Gracanica, Partes and Zvecan municipality.
The study conducted by Aktiv in cooperation with GIZ and with the support of British Embassy over the course of 6 months, offers a number of insights into the economic situation of North Kosovo companies as well as into the economic structure of the four municipalities.
On the 25th of November 2013, NGO Aktiv held an event marking the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women on the premises of its Art Center in North Mitrovica.
The main goal of the survey was to make an overview of the state of domestic violence in four municipalities in North Kosovo and provide concrete policy recommendation to ensure the long-term sustainability of the intervention led by NGO Aktiv.
On 23 October 2013, AKTIV and FIQ, supported by Saferworld, within the frame of the project Strengthening Civil Society Organizations in Kosovo to contribute effectively in drafting security policies and decision-making, held the conference entitled "Citizens' views on key security matters in Kosovo".
Aktiv, in cooperation with Swiss NGO TechShare, delivered 10 laptops to the elementary school “Petar Kočić” in Brnjak, Zubin Potok municipality. The donations are part of the project “Technical and Technological Empowerment of Schools in the Municipality of Zubin Potok.”
