On the sixth General Assembly of Platform for Analysis and Research held in North Mitrovica on 17.10.2016, new leadership of the coalition was chosen and new coalition agreement signed.

Organization signatures are pleased to invite you to the conference “Call for Transparent Communication of the Solutions Reached in the Context of Brussels Agreement” scheduled for Monday, October 17, at 12 am, at the Civic Energy Centre, Kralja Petra 183a in North Mitrovica. The conference is organized by organization signatures: Human centre Mitrovica, YEC Sinergy, Radio Kontakt Plus, ACDC and NGO Aktiv.

USAID/Advancing Kosovo Together - Local Solutions (AKT - LS) is a three-year project aiming to increase constructive inter-ethnic cooperation and interaction, primarily between the majority Kosovo Albanian community and non-majority communities, which is vital to the security and stability of the Balkans. AKT-LS program is implemented in 16 municipalities with considerable presence of non-majority communities.

Legend of the Yugoslavian journalism, Goran Milić, director of Al Jazeera Balkans, visited Mitrovica with his TV crew to conduct several interviews with representatives of NGO AKTIV.

On September 28, AKTIV organized the “Business Fair” in North Mitrovica, inviting all businesses previously engaged within the project to present their products and match up with partners from other communities.

As part of CDF-led consortium of 4 NGOs (Aktiv, KRD and CPT) implementing USAID-funded program Advancing Kosovo Together - Local Solution (AKT-LS), NGO Aktiv facilitated the participation of five businesses from Northern Kosovo municipalities at the annual Agricultural and Agro-industrial Products Fair in Prishtina. The five businesses, that were selected to participate at the Fair by NGO Aktiv, are the beneficiaries of AKT-LS grants scheme implemented in 2015 and 2016.

On Saturday, 17th of September, 45 GIZ trainees visited northern Kosovo. In an effort to obtain better insight into the socio-political situation in Kosovo, the GIZ trainees visited a number of organisations across Kosovo, including NGO AKTIV.
