Nevladina organizacija Aktiv je u sredu 26. juna organizovala forum „Građanski identitet izvan etničkih podela“, koji je imao za cilj unapređivanje interakcije i saradnje između srpskih i albanskih nevladinih organizacija na Kosovu.

On Friday the 21^st of June, Aktiv held a public debate on Translation during Kosovo assembly meetings. Panelists included Andjelka Ćup, journalist, Sami Kurteshi, member of the Kosovo Assembly, Bruno Neziraj, interpreter, Arta Pllana of the Office of the Language Commissioner and Rinor Beka of the National Democratic Institute (NDI).

Guests of the special edition of Sporazoom TV show were Bodo Webber, from the Berlin’s Democratization Policy Council, Dušan Janjić, political analyst from Belgrade and Veton Surroi, writer and publicist, where discussion about normalization of regional relations has taken place, in the light of the (possibly) upcoming meeting between Belgrade and Prishtina on 1^st of July in Paris.

On June 17th, 2019 NGO AKTIV organized a final conference within the project ’’Capacity development of Coordination Mechanism members to implement Domestic Violence Action Plans in seven municipalities in Kosovo’’ under the UN Women Programme “Ending Violence against Women: Implementing Norms, Changing Minds”.

On the 19th of June 2019, NGO AKTIV held a roundtable discussion at Restaurant Lipa in Štrpce in cooperation with Kosovo Specialist Chambers. The purpose of the roundtable discussion was to inform members of Kosovo civil society on the overall mandate of the recently established Kosovo Specialist Chambers.

Intensified international involvement in Kosovo. Are we closer to the comprehensive agreement between Belgrade and Prishtina, or are we far from it? Guests of the new episode of SporaZoom show were: Rada Trajković, from the European Movement of Serbs in Kosovo and Florian Qehaja, from the Kosovo Center for Security Studies.
