Meeting between Kosovo Chamber of Commerce, Ministry of agriculture, forestry and rural development and northern Kosovo business representatives

In cooperation with Kosovo Chamber of Commerce, NGO Aktiv has organized meeting between representatives of northern Kosovo businesses and Ministry of Agriculture, forestry and rural development. Representatives of business had opportunity to learn about the role of Kosovo Chamber of Commerce in facilitating cooperation process between business and institutions. They have also gained valuable information about means of support that Ministry of Agriculture, forestry and rural development provides.

Guest speakers at the meeting were Safet Gerxhaliu, President of the Kosovo Chamber of Commerce and Rodoljub Mladenovic, Deputy Minister in the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and rural development. Representatives have shared the experience about most common obstacles they are facing due to lack of institutional support and limited access in northern Serbian municipalities. They have received assurances from both Mr. Gerxhaliu and Mr. Maldenović, that they will join efforts in attempt to resolve these problems.

 Meeting was held as part of the project Enhancing cooperation between northern Kosovo businesses and the Kosovo Chamber of Commerce that is supported by USA Embassy in Kosovo.
