First lectures held in the framework of the School of European Integration 2018



The fifth cycle of the School of European Integration was opened through an introductory seminar held this weekend in Vrnjacka Banja.

 

Suzana Grubješić, Secretary General of the European Movement in Serbia, Vladimir Međak, Vice President of the European Movement in Serbia, Vladimir Ateljević, Advisor at the Ministry of European Integration, Predrag Bjelić, Professor at the Faculty of Economics at the University of Belgrade, and Ivan Knežević, project manager of the European Movement in Serbia, spoke about the history of the European Union, the functioning of the economy, the enlargement strategy, the EU's attitude towards the Western Balkans, and other related topics. This year, the School of European Integration consists of two modules: The Rule of Law, which will be held in Mitrovica, and Environmental Protection and Environmental Policy, which will be held in Gračanica. During the school program, the participants will have study visits to Belgrade and Pristina, and attend a regional seminar and open lectures contributing to a better insight and understanding of the topic.

This year, the project is implemented by the organizations European Movement in Serbia, CSD - Communication for Social Development, and Aktiv in cooperation with the Kosovo Foundation for an Open Society (KFOS).
