Legend of the Yugoslavian journalism, Goran Milić, director of Al Jazeera Balkans, visited Mitrovica with his TV crew to conduct several interviews with representatives of NGO AKTIV.
The interviews will be used as a material for documentary series Alchemy of Balkans. The Executive Director of NGO AKTIV, Miodrag Milicevic and activists of the organisation discussed the economic situation in the context of unresolved disputes revolving about Trepca mine, everyday life of the citizens, political and social problems, advantages of the existence of a University in North Mitrovica, visa liberalisation, property issues and other topics relevant to the Serbian community in Kosovo.
In a separate conversation with Milica Andric, the Program Director of AKTIV, Milic asked about the work of NGO AKTIV, possibilities of reconciliation of the Serbian and Albanian community in Kosovo, relations between the youth and treatment of the CSO sector on behalf of political structures.
