Translation during the assembly meetings

NGO AKTIV has the pleasure of inviting you to a public debate entailed  Translation during the assembly meetings within the scope of the project Creating a Bilingual Kosovo supported by the Embassy of the Kingdom of Norway and implemented in cooperation with the Office of the Language Commissioner.  The overriding goal of this debate is to contribute to public understanding on the importance of the translation of assembly meetings and to address issues related to the implementation of the Law on Use of Languages by the Kosovo Assembly.

During the course of the debate, NGO AKTIV will briefly present the project and the aim of the open debate reflecting on the harmonization between Law on Use of Languages and Rules of Procedure of the Assembly, followed by a panel discussion composed of the following institutional representatives:

  • Office of the Language Commissioner
  • Office of the Prime Minister
  • Media representative
  • Parliament  members

Names of participants will be communicated and confirmed in the upcoming days.

Serbian, Albanian and English translations will be provided during the debate. We kindly ask you to confirm your attendance by Monday, 17th June, by e-mail to office@ngoaktiv.org.
